In James 5:7-12, James exhorts believers to stay encouraged and expectant by establishing their hearts for Kingdom purposes in the midst of persecution and hardship. Like them, we are inheriting a Kingdom that cannot be shaken and while we are here, we can look to those who have gone before us for inspiration and comfort. Our life is not our own. We are His and eagerly await His return. May we stay steadfast in the midst of the trials and live for His glory!
