The Father wants His children to live with Him in the confidence of rest, because He is not a taskmaster waiting for performance, but a Father satisfied with the work His Son has done on our behalf. He is a Father who is deeply relational, and passionately determined that His children live in the peace that comes from seeing themselves through the finished work of His Son.
