Hebrews 11 is more than a record of people who believed Gof for extradinary things. It reveals men and women who knew God, trusted His heart, responded to His voice, and lived as those who were known by Him. In this introduction to Hebrews 11, we will establish faith as relational confidence in God-not a formula for personal gain or an attempt to earn His approval. Through Hebrews 11:1-2, we will see that faith rests in the unseen faithfulness of God and receives Heaven's testimony, even when the fullness of His promise has not yet become visible
